Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Yeet Prompt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the software.

License Grant

Yeet Prompt grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Yeet Prompt on your own personal devices for personal or professional use, subject to these terms.

You may not:

  • Redistribute or sublicense the software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

Purchase and Payment

Yeet Prompt is available as a one-time purchase at a price of $1.99 USD. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

The price may change for future customers, but your purchase price is locked in at the time of payment. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. You may qualify for a refund if:

  • The software does not work on your system and the issue cannot be resolved
  • You made a duplicate purchase
  • You experience unresolvable technical issues

To request a refund, email hello@yeetprompt.com with the email address used for your purchase. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing your own Groq API key if using cloud transcription
  • Granting microphone permissions on your system
  • Complying with applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
  • Maintaining the security of your API keys

Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the software for any illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent any license restrictions
  • Use the software to violate others' privacy or recording consent rights
  • Redistribute the software to third parties

Intellectual Property

Yeet Prompt and its original content, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The software incorporates open-source components, including whisper.cpp, Electron, and others, which retain their respective licenses. Your transcription outputs belong to you.

Third-Party Services

Yeet Prompt integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Groq API for cloud transcription, subject to Groq's own terms of service
  • whisper.cpp for local transcription, licensed under the MIT license

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

Disclaimers

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant:

  • Transcription accuracy or completeness
  • Uninterrupted service from cloud APIs
  • Compatibility with all systems or configurations
  • That the software will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YEET PROMPT'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE ($1.99).

In no event shall Yeet Prompt be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the software.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and uninstall it from your devices.

The sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability survive termination.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be posted on this page.
